I need to cancel a shift between 1-4 days (more than 24 hours, less than 96) in advance. What should I know?

This section applies to you if you’re canceling a confirmed shift less than four days (96 hours) but more than one day (24 hours) before the shift is scheduled to begin

A cancellation this close to a scheduled shift might be especially difficult for our dental practices—so if you don’t have an excusable cancellation reason, we may implement a temporary restriction on your account. Still, we know it’s not always possible for you to cancel sooner—so if you can provide an excusable reason for shift cancellation, along with proof or verification, we’ll accept your cancellation without penalty.

Remember: If you cancel three times (for excused reasons) in a quarter* with less than four days’ notice, we’ll assume there’s something going on in your life that makes it difficult for you to meet your commitments. We may implement a “Leave of Absence” hold on your account to help you rest and recover.

*When we say “quarter,” we mean a standard calendar quarter (January through March, April through June, July through September, and October through December).
