What is the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA)?
The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) is the only national organization representing the professional interests of the more than 226,000 dental hygienists in the United States. ADHA pursues and supports advocacy efforts to elevate the voices of dental hygienists at the federal, state and local levels, develops and curates education and research in the field, and builds community among practicing hygienists, students, industry, employers and institutions. For 100 years, ADHA has been dedicated to uniting and empowering dental hygienists to make a positive impact on public oral and overall health.
