The practice canceled my shift. Do I still get paid?

If a 6+ hour shift is canceled by the practice with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be paid for 4 hours. If the practice ends your 6+ hour shift early, you will be paid for either 4 hours or the actual time worked, whichever is greater. If you choose to leave your shift early on your own, you will not receive compensation for the 4 hours of pay. Cancellations for shifts under 4 hours are not compensated.
